AutoTrader is a free Car Quote Services website that provides users with a variety of information on new and used cars and trucks, which include prices, photographs and reviews from Consumer Guide, NADA Guides and Edmunds.com.

Our #1service, Edmunds.com uses AutoTrader as a classified section to post ads for cars and trucks from auto dealers and private sellers. Although AutoTrader is a good service, they don’t provide a lot of their own information; they use direct links to other Car Quote Services sites.

Service Features:  

You can find expert reviews, buying tips and safety information when you research new, used and certified used cars and trucks on AutoTrader. They utilize other car quote services sites such as Consumer Guide for reviews, NADA Guides for appraisals and Edmunds.com for browsing by car type such as SUV, van, convertible, truck, wagon, etc.

AutoTrader offers a section on fraud awareness, which include articles, tips and advice. You can also sell your car for a reasonable fee. Edmunds.com, our #1 service, uses AutoTrader to sell cars and trucks.

Sell your car fast with an online ad for $15.00, $40.00 or $55.00. Reach even more people with an online ad plus an ad in AutoTrader magazine for $27.00, $37.00 or $45.00.

Ease of Use:  

AutoTrader’s website is easy to navigate with a menu bar located at the top of each page and multiple links. Each page is well organized and offers a wide variety of information without appearing cluttered.

To sell your car, AutoTrader will “walk” you through the process of creating an ad as well as provide tips and advice.

Effective Search Results:  

In addition to providing a useful section to sell your car, AutoTrader produced an impressive 21 vehicles available in our area from auto dealers and private sellers for our test vehicle, the Pontiac Vibe. The results are due to several other sites that AutoTrader uses to advertise vehicles for sale such as Yahoo! Autos, Edmunds.com, AOL Autos and NADA Guides.

You can contact AutoTrader by phone or fill out an email form. We sent questions through the email form, but they replied with a form letter.
